HAVE YOU PAID YOUR ANNUAL TROOP DUES?

$40/Scout was due in back in November!!!

Did you pay your camp deposit?

Up-coming Bridging Ceremonies – At this time we have two bridging ceremonies to attend during the month of February. We will be having Scouts bridging over from Pack 499 on Tuesday, February 10th. We also have a couple of Scouts from a Davis Pack 75 who will bridge over to our Troop on Wednesday, February 25th. We will need Scouts and Adult Leaders to attend both of these events to help welcome these young men into T-68.

Troop Merit Badge Booklets – Please return any borrowed merit badge books when you are done with them. Our library seems to be missing several that were purchased just before summer camp!

Klondike Derby – The event will be held January 30-31, February 1st. Our Troop has opted to go up on Saturday morning in time to set up and participate in the days activities and returning on Sunday, with a stop on the way home for breakfast! Cost for this event is $20/Scout, plus Scouts will need cash for the breakfast stop the next morning! Don’t forget your permission slips and be at the cabin by 5am!

Yolo District Camporee – this will be held the last weekend of March. It is in the planning phase at this time, but the theme looks like it will be “Scouting through the Decades!” Our Troop will have the ‘60’s! The location for this event is still being finalized.

Summer Camp - Cherry Valley is scheduled for July 12-18, 2009. Our first payment of $100/person was due by January 20th. We will be following up with payments the end of February, March ($100 each) and the final payment will be due by the third week of April. If you intend to go to camp and have not paid your deposit please do so ASAP!

National Jamboree 2010 – There are still approximately 24 spaces available. You must sign up now with the GEC and through the National Jamboree website. If you have any questions please contact the Scoutmaster. You must be 12 years of age by July 2010 and First Class rank.

NYLT- National Youth Leadership training will be held the first two weekends of May at Camp Pollock. If you are 13 years of age or older and at least a First Class Scout then you should consider attending this very valuable leadership course.
