Annual Parent’s Night – Planning Meeting – we will be holding a special parents meeting/planning meeting on Tuesday, October 21st. Parents are asked to be in attendance this evening to go over goals and to help with planning for the upcoming year. Scouts will meet separately to present their own ideas for the year. Please come prepared with any questions, concerns, ideas, etc. Parents – don’t forget to bring your checkbooks………….we will be collecting annual Troop fees!
2008 Merit Badge Saturday – Winters BSA Troop 998 has invited us to attend Merit Badge Saturday on December 6th. See the back for a list of the classes. Sign up with the Scoutmaster ASAP! Class size in limited……….you don’t want to be left out!
Cabrillo Club Dinner – A special thank you to Eric N., Patrick V., Paul V., Matt G., Cameron H., Victor V. and John M. for coming out to help serve at this dinner. The Cabrillo Club was very grateful for our help.
Yolo District Weboree – October 25-26 at Nelson’s Grove. This is a great way for us to show off our skills to Webelos Scouts who are thinking of bridging into our Troop.
Board of Review – Court of Honor – How are you doing on your rank advancement and also on those merit badges? We will hold Board of Reviews on Tuesday October 21 and 28. Our fall Court of Honor is scheduled for November 11th. Be sure to get those last minute requirements completed and get your Scoutmasters Conference.
National Jamboree – 100 Years of Scouting – Are you interested in attending the 2010 Jamboree? Requirements are that you be an active, registered Scout, First Class and above and 12 years old or have completed the 6th grade by July 2010. For more information go to the website www.bsajamboree.org
