Memorial Day Flags – We have been asked by the American Legion to help honor our fallen soldiers. We will be placing flags at the Woodland Cemetery on Sunday, May 27th and Monday, May 28th. Times will be announced. All Scouts should come in uniform for this event. We will need all available Scouts to help out!

Court of Honor – May 29th we will honor a past Scouter from Troop 68 at our Court of Honor. Cake will be served and we will have several guest speakers.

Dues Challenge – As you know we have been running a challenge between Patrols for the past 3 months. The Patrol who has done the best job with weekly dues (50 cents) will be given ice cream on June 5th. After that we will start another 3 month challenge!

Activity T-shirts – We are putting in an order for activity t-shirts for anyone that wants one. Adults included! All orders must be in by tomorrow……..Wednesday, May 23rd! We will start wearing our activity t-shirts in June!

Movie Night at the Scout Cabin – We are planning on watching the movie October Sky is preparation for next month’s activity of rocket building!

Summer Camp – We will be holding an information meeting in June for all Scouts and parents to help plan our summer camp experience. Watch for date and time!

Merit Badge Saturday – The day before we leave for summer camp, July 14th, there will be a Merit Badge day held in Winter’s for anyone interested in working on one or possibly two badges. Information will be sent to all Scouts via email as soon as we have all the details.

Next PLC Meeting – Sunday, June 17th at 5pm at the Boy Scout Cabin

Next Troop Committee Meeting – Monday, June 25th at 7pm at the Martin home
