Troop Outing - We are planning a campout at the Hartwig Ranch for April 6 - 7. Details will be in next weeks newsletter. We will plan on leaving from the Scout Cabin on Friday afternoon returning Saturday evening. This will allow Scouts to enjoy Easter Sunday with their families. Be sure to pack your fishing gear and hiking boots!
Fly Fishing Merit Badge - Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from an expert fly fisherman! We are planning a day outing in May to practice the skills that we learn as well as a weekend campout in June to do some serious fishing!
Eagle Project Owl Boxes - We will be assisting Adam with his Eagle Project. Plan on doing some serious painting this night!
Board of Review - Our first Board of Review is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24th. We will have a second one planned for May 15th and if needed we will add one or two other dates. Please be sure to get your requirements signed off and set up your Scoutmaster Conference! All new Scouts will have an opportunity to work on Rank advancement over the next month. All Scouts should come PREPARED to meetings with their SCOUT HANDBOOKS!!
Annual Troop 68 Rummage Sale - Be sure to start saving those garage sale items for the up-coming sale!
Yolo District Camporee - Survivor Island is this years theme. We will need one or two parents to volunteer to join the Troop! Please sign up with the Scoutmaster! We don’t want to pay the District for this event and have to cancel due to lack of Adult participation!
Summer Camp - JULY 15-21 - Final Camp payment is due by April 17th. Space is limited. Please sign up with Ric Sandoval if you haven’t already done so. This summer we will attend Camp Wente Scout Reservation east of Willits, CA.
